Innovation Award

Creative, fresh, unique solution that that was successfully implemented within the organization and contributed toward improving our business (i.e., improved safety, performance, sales, reduced costs, etc.).


Safety Leader Award

Employee who consistently drives our safety culture by demonstrating and encouraging a high level of engagement of safe behaviors.


Quality Award

Employee who consistently demonstrates excellence and leadership in  performance, productivity or improvement in how business is done.


Customer Service Excellence Award

Consistently demonstrates responsive, courteous and professional customer service. Employee who provides that “unexpected extra” service effort to internal customers (our employees) and external customers and in doing so, anticipates customer needs and exceeds expectation.


Community Award

Made significant contributions to the community by offering their time, actions, talents and dedication.


President’s Award

Given to best of all annual award winners. This pinnacle award recognizes one or more individual employees for significant achievement to the betterment of the company and whose actions exemplify all Tilcon Connecticut core values. Nominees typically will also have accomplished a significant achievement in one or more of the following areas:

  • Safety improvement that had significant impact to other employees
  • Suggestion that resulted in improvement in productivity
  • Found creative and innovative ways to make operations or procedures more efficient
  • Solution to a significant problem that impacted the company’s success
  • Community Service (e.g., individual volunteering, coaching, etc.)
